chill out and love Jesus

one night, a week and a half ago, i was standing in a crowd of several hundred muslims in a small coastal village. this village was known for being pretty dangerous and there was no telling how the people would react to the Gospel (the weekend before the team had gotten stones thrown at them). our truck was completely surrounded and i was feeling really uneasy by how surrounded we were. we just started worshipping on the truck while several pastors and mission school students preached to the multitudes. while worshipping i looked up into the night sky and heard Jesus happily say to me, "You don't even know what's in you." and then i heard Him happily say "you have no idea what you're capable of."

When we are fearful and unbelieving Jesus is still 100% 

fully aware of who He is in us. His Spirit 

dwells in us, never to leave us. 

When we are unfaithful, He is faithful.

shortly after worship we went into the crowd to pray for people. the presence of God was so thick and He had just given me a sweet and refreshing revelation how it's all about His name and not mine, which takes away all disappointment should the Lord decide not to heal someone right then. but this night, as far as we could tell, every single person we prayed for was healed. and He did it sooooo easily. everyone had the same thing happen when praying...that we didn't even really have to even pray ha. i kept praying for people and they kept getting healed and then it got to the point where i would lay my hands on someone to pray for them and the Lord was say "just healed them" before i could even begin, so i would ask them if they were healed and they would have smiles on their faces and saying yes! Jesus healed probably well over 100 people. i'm guessing. saw several with bad eye site get healed. too many head aches to keep track of. me and this english dude were praying for a man with an "S" in his back and it was straightened. one girl was praying for a guy who didn't have an eye or it was just very very small and blind. she put her hand on his eye and soon after starting to pray she felt a pop under her hand and when she removed her hand from the person's face they were looking around with their new eye!

while praying for people i literally just started laughing because i was so amazed at what Jesus was doing. it was blowing my mind. He is soooooo good!!!!!!

"In an acceptable time I have heard you, 

and in the day of salvation I have helped you."

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is

the day of salvation.

-2 Corinthians 6:2

on saturday morning i went to a man's house in a village in the middle of nowhere close to Nampula. the night before a few people had gone to the house and prayed for him. his family couldn't remember the last time he had eaten. when i saw him he was basically all bones. they had tried witchcraft to heal him and he got worse. the night before i saw him a few people convinced them to take all the witchcraft out of their house for a day and see if Jesus would heal the man. when i came back with them in the morning on saturday we got there and they had food prepared for the man. they didn't want to give it to him until we had prayed for him first. so we prayed and the man ate. he ate a little but he ate. he and his family both saw the inferior power of the enemy and believed in the power of Jesus and his love. the man and his whole family all got saved when they saw the man eat. Jesus is good and mighty to save! Amen!
